Dads and Sons: “Courageous” Men’s Event 
On Saturday, June 2, our church will be hosting a special event for the men of our church. We’ll be watching the movie “Courageous” and having a conversation over dinner about God’s expectations of men, especially of fathers. The movie is rated PG-13.  Bring $5 per person for a great BBQ dinner!   RSVP at this link: http://tinyurl.com/acc-courageous

Youth Breakouts Summer Kickoff, THIS SUNDAY, June 3.
We will be starting our summer breakout season with our welcoming of the incoming 6th graders, a special message from Pastor Daniel, and a time to encourage each other with prayer.

Summer Retreat Registration: Regular Deadline is THIS SUNDAY, June 3.
Our summer youth retreat will be August 9-12, 2012 at Camp Buckner in Burnet, TX. Regular registration (until June 3) will be $180. During the regular registration period, families with more than one student will receive a “sibling discount”.  Late registration (June 4 to July 15) will be $200 with no discounts. English Worship Service, 9:30 on Sundays
This is the worship service for the youth at our church. Please make an effort to attend worship service as you bring your best to God and connect with the greater body of Christ. 

6th Grader Party, Wednesday June 13 at the Engs’ house! 
Pastor Daniel and Sanjung Eng will be hosting a pizza and games party for the incoming 6th graders to get to know us! Please RSVP to let us know you will be coming: deng@austinchinesechurch.org  We will plan to meet at 6:00pm at the Engs’ house: 13117 Boomer Lane, Austin TX 78729.

Summer Youth Fellowship Starts Saturday, June 16
This summer, we will be having all our youth together again. Incoming 6th graders to graduating high school seniors are welcome! We’ll kick off the summer on Saturday, June 16.

Come and share how God has been working in your life recently. This will be a great time to hear from each other what God has been teaching and showing you! This is our last Wildfire Friday of the school year, so don’t miss it!

High School Fellowship

Fellowship Activity: Saturday, May 19th Testimony Night 7:00-9:30PM
Come and share how God has been working in your life recently. This will be a great time to hear from each other what God has been teaching and showing you! This is our last Wildfire Friday of the school year, so don’t miss it! 

Sunday Breakouts: Sundays at 11am, Carey 

This Sunday, we’ll be having two activities:

·For Seniors (HS class of 2012): We will be having the second of a two-part series on the transition to college.  This Sunday we will be discussing God’s desires for college students in using your time and energy.  Ricky Tam will come and share about his experience with partying and with Christian community. Don’t miss this, seniors!

·For Grades 6-11: We will be hearing from Elder Phil Chang about our church’s core values. We’ll also hear from Julian Joseph, one of our faithful youth workers, about his upcoming ministry trip to Japan. Finally, we will hear from some of our brothers and sisters who were baptized on May 6th.

NO Breakouts, Sunday, May 27th

We will be taking a break from programmed Sunday youth breakouts (11am) on Sunday, May 27th (Memorial Day weekend). The Carey building will be open during that time for students to have refreshments and have conversation. Pastor Daniel Eng and Calvin Yiu will be there at 11am to spend time with the students. We will still be having English worship service at 9:30am, so it’s a great time for many of you to start or renew your commitment to the worship service! 

Senior Banquet: Sunday, May 27th 

Come and honor our Class of 2012 High School seniors on Sunday, May 27th in the evening. Dinner will be included. Both our Friday and Saturday fellowships will not be meeting at our regular times so that we can all attend Senior Banquet! Further details are coming.

Wildfire Middle School Fellowship

Wildfire Activity: Friday, May 11th with AWANA

We are having a special evening with our AWANA children’s ministry!  We will not be meeting at Carey (Lighthouse) but we will be meeting at Taylor (Gym) as we spend time with AWANA.  If you have signed up to help, please make sure you arrive by 7:10.

High School Fellowship

Notes from the Journey: Saturday, May 12th

Our High School Fellowship will be welcoming Lucy Hsu, who will be sharing about her recent experience sharing the gospel with a neighbor. We will also be hearing from Dani Cummings about the journey that God took her on as she will be heading to San Francisco this summer to minister to others. Don’t miss this! We’ll be meeting at our normal time, 7:00pm.

Lily Ku, a financial advisor and dear sister at our church, will be sharing about credit cards, budgeting, and tithing. Testimony Night!  Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 19th

Come and join us for a night of sharing about what God has been doing in our lives. This is your opportunity to listen to others! Start thinking about how God’s been working in your life, and if He is leading you to share.
